We'll get the opposite effect. There are all kinds of storm warnings as your storm moves our way, and we're flying to Southern California in the morning. I don't look forward to *that* drive to the airport.

Sara I was just listening to the most recent Weavecast and there you were! What fun to hear a voice that goes with this wonderful blog. Now I see your yurt studio covered in snow.

We have been blessed with a snowy winter this year, whoopee!!!!

Best of the New Year to you and yours.

Great pics, thank you for sharing. In my part of Nc we had 10 minutes of Christmas sleet. Yea. Is it hard to keep your yurt warm in the winter? Thank you for the bag pattern too!

Very different views! Up here in Canada, no matter where you look, it's white. We have a couple of feet of snow and another 6 -12 inches on the way.

Beautiful photos and apropos, as well. Sitting here in Mendocino, spending the first month of this new year with my husband and old dog, we scout and wait for 'our' property to come available. We watch, visit, research, meet and listen and hope for our vision to present itself. Albion is one of the areas that might contain that vision.
Since everything is in storage, knitting is what I am focusing on. I enjoy reading your posts now particularly since my spinning wheel and tapestry loom are not in my hands.
Happy New Year!
Nancy
